We are reaching out on behalf of the Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health to invite you to an important virtual community-based Town Hall meeting that will engage community stakeholders in a discussion on suicide prevention with a focus on Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) communities in Clark County.
The purpose of this Town Hall is to have a discussion on what suicide prevention and crisis resources are assets to the community, opportunities to address inequities and lack of access to services, and what is needed to support BIPOC communities in their suicide prevention and crisis efforts.
The virtual town hall meeting will take place on Tuesday, December 29, from 5:30-7:30 pm. A group of panelists from the community will discuss key questions related to crisis and suicide. Your voice is essential to inform the discussion. The end of the event will include an open forum for questions and discussion.
Please join us for this important event by registering here https://zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_7zn3zOZMTqCKJuUNERpmdQ.
Please share the attached flyer with any individuals or groups that you think could add their voice to this conversation.
