This year’s Annual “Walk in Memory – Walk for Hope” community suicide prevention awareness walk will be taking place on Saturday, September 10, 2022, in ten different communities across the State of Nevada. Walk participants are asked to donate $20 per individual. To participate on a team, go to the drop down box and select a team already there or enter the name of a team in the “new team” area. Each person walking will need to complete a registration form. All donations will be used to help fund various NCSP programs in communities throughout the state.
If you would like to participate in a specific walk, you can print out the registration PDF form, complete it and either mail it in to the address on the form or bring it with you to the walk in your community. Each walk site may vary in the actual distance but they are all ranging from 3-5K.

Battle Mountain: Elquist Park Battle Mountain, NV registration begins at 8:00 am – Register Now!

Because there is help, there is hope. We want to make sure individuals struggling with thoughts of suicide and the friends and families doing their best to support them can be connected to resources and services that can make a difference. The concerted efforts of the Nevada Coalition for Suicide Prevention, the Office of Suicide Prevention and the many local task forces and coalitions across the state hosting events such as the “Walk in Memory, Walk for Hope” will help make Nevada a healthier and safer place to live.
